There are many beaches to visit in Cartagena, but today I want to recommend the most enchanting ones, where you can enjoy a romantic getaway, relax, and escape the city’s noise.

1. ISLABELA BEACH

The first recommendation I have for you is Islabela. If you and your partner are looking for a unique experience surrounded by nature, crystal-clear waters, tranquility, and lots of privacy, this beach is perfect for you.

Islabela is located in the Rosario Islands, about 40 minutes from Cartagena. Its waters are crystal-clear, and it’s completely free from the noise of vendors and the crowded beaches you find within the city.

At Islabela, you can enjoy anything from day trips to full stays with recreational activities. Because it’s a private and exclusive beach, there is an entrance fee.

Here you can plan anything you can imagine with the help of their staff: a surprise romantic dinner with decoration, a marriage proposal by the sea, or a sunny afternoon with cocktails.
