Maheen Anjum serves as the Chief Financial Officer of La Carta, combining her financial expertise and love for Cartagena to elevate our magazine’s success. Graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s in Economics from Baruch University in New York, Maheen quickly made a name for herself as a senior consultant at Deloitte, a globally renowned auditing firm. There, she managed prestigious accounts like American Express, earning recognition as the youngest senior management consultant in the firm’s history.

Maheen’s first visit to Cartagena in 2021 sparked a deep connection with the city’s vibrant culture and rich history. Enthralled by its beauty, she decided to make Cartagena her second home, spending half the year in her apartment in Cabrero. Outside of her professional life, Maheen enjoys relaxing on Cartagena’s beaches and wandering through the historic center, fully embracing the city she has come to adore.

What is the La Carta Grade?

We gather all the major reviews online from platforms like Booking.com, Airbnb, Trip Advisor, Hostel world, and average out the reviews with our personal La Carta Experience Review (we personally visit establishments and experience it ourselves) for one La Carta Rating. An average of all the online reviews and our La Carta Experience review. This saves you time searching the internet for the honesty of the reviews.
